Don R. Scheidt and Co., Inc. was originally established in Columbus, Indiana and presently still serves as our home office. Don R. Scheidt & Co., has two other offices within Indiana in Indianapolis and Lafayette. Indianapolis currently serves as the base for our commercial appraisal and consulting department. Overall, each office is staffed with an appropriate number of commercial and residential personnel to meet the local and regional needs.

Our appraisal and consulting services are regularly utilized by many leading lending institutions, developers, brokers, corporations, attorneys, government agencies, other real estate related companies, and private individuals. With our main emphasis on appraising, Don R. Scheidt & Co. has acquired expertise in virtually all property types. This includes, but not limited to, industrial, multi-family, hotel/motel, commercial office and retail, health care facilities, special use properties, as well as residential. Commercial assignments are accepted throughout the Midwest states while most of the residential assignments accepted, remain in the surrounding and home counties of our three offices.
